The Electrical Trades Union has steadfastly opposed the Rudd Government's Fair Work Bill. Under this legislation right of entry is still a privilege rather than a right, secret ballots are alive and well, the right to strike is compromised by legal red tape, the ABCC - fresh with a new name - rides over worker rights, and if you work in a business with less than 15 employees you can still be sacked without recourse.
