Fishing for fun
There's nothing like reeling in a big fish to sweep away the worries of the world. And they don't come much bigger than the Yellowfin Tuna one shop steward Darren Buttigieg - Mobil Refinery Altona - found on his line. And no, Darren didn't say, 'You should have seen the one that got away' when he described how he snared this little beauty at Bermagui, on the South Coast of NSW.
The 'little beauty' came it at 80 kilograms and took an hour and fifteen minutes to haul in on a twenty-four kilo line. And how did it taste, you ask? Well, that question can only be answered by Tony the Taxidermist from Ulladulla!
In a couple of months the aforesaid tuna will adorn the mantlepiece in Darren's Keilor Park home.
